BS PAS 99:2006 specifies common management systemrequirements and is intended to be used as a frameworkfor implementing two or more management systemstandards/specifications in an integrated way. It drawstogether the common requirements in managementsystem standards/specifications.

Although it is primarily intended to be used incombination with management systemstandards/specifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001,ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22000, ISO/IEC 20000 and/or OHSAS18001 it can also be used with other national andinternational management system standards/specifications.

BS PAS 99:2006 applies to all sizes and types of organization.

BS PAS 99:2006 is not intended for organizations that have based theirmanagement system upon a single standard/specificationexcept as preparation for the adoption of additionalsystems or standards.

Compliance with BS PAS 99:2006 does not ensurecompliance with any other management systemstandards/specifications.
