AS 4755.2:2025 applies to electrical products that are capable of responding to operational instructions from a remote agent without the use of a Demand Response Enabling Device (DRED). It specifies minimum levels of demand response functionality for electrical products; optional capabilities and functionalities; various means of communicating with a remote agent, which allow the electrical product to be designated as belonging to a specific class or classes; and labelling and marking requirements. It also sets out an approach for the testing and conformance of claimed capabilities.
