Description / Abstract: Material Description. This specification covers the properties of a compression molded, hand poured, polyester incorporating nano-type fillers and using a directed fiberglass preform. The cured material shall have a density of 1.4 g/cm³ maximum, and 30% random oriented chopped glass fibers about 25 mm long.

Symbols. The material abbreviation according to ISO 11469 is UP-GF30 .

Applicability. Typical applications: structural reinforcements.

Remarks. The material must meet the bondability requirements of GMW15921.
