Purpose. This standard describes the preferred installation techniques to drive a common installation process for instrumentation in Thermal/HVAC/Powertrain Cooling (PTC) test vehicles. Using these preferred installation techniques as the common installation process will aid in test data correlation.

Applicability. Applies to all Thermal/HVAC/PTC vehicles.
