This slide presentation explores two critical issues concerning Consumer Confidence Reports (CCRs): the correlation between recall of the CCR and drinking watersafety ratings; and,the correlation between drinking water safety ratings andorganizational favorability ratings. Additionally, it demonstratesthe ability of "primer" promotional pieces to positively affectcustomer recall of the CCR. A two-phase telephone survey was conducted inApril and July 2005 and was designed to evaluate several effects:impact of CCR recall on consumer water "safety" ratings;impact of "safety" ratings on organizational favorability; and,impact of "primer" mailing on CCR recall. The "Primer" Pilot Project is outlined, along with the CCR recall study and impacts on favorability. Includes figures.
