This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the National Environmental Methods Index (NEMI) forChemical, Biological and RadiologicalMethods, and three additional fieldsneeded to addressemergency response that include:Validation Flags -indicates if and how methodwas validated;Rapidity Ratings -estimated time to performanalysis and obtain data; and,Specificity Ratings -a method is rated as a screeningmethod or confirmatory method. The CBR Advisor is presented as an expert system companion to NEMI-CBR thatenables users to obtain advice in response to an incident, andprovides access to detailed information for planning andtraining purposes.
