This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of waterborne diseases including bacterial and viral, parasites and protozoa, and algae and algal toxins. Climate change impacts on waterborne diseases are presented, including: the direct effects of temperature, rainfall and drought, and the indirect effects of ecological disturbances and human physiology; water quality; and, microbial contamination. Several examples of water quality data from historic and recent Wisconsin floods are provided. Includes 22 references, table, figures.
